Procedure/Instruction short paper
Registering for classes can be one the most hectic things to deal with. You have to go
through so many different steps such as doing your application, applying for financial aid,
taking your college placement test and actually figure out what classes you want to take
and what teachers are best. I’ve developed a list of instructions to guide one on registering
for classes.
Go to https://connections.fscj.edu to do your online application.
Once you’ve completed your online application, you can either pay your
application fee of twenty-five dollars online or in your local FSCJ Admissions
Office.
You will then apply for Financial Aid, and you will need to visit www.fafsa.edu.gov
to complete the application. The application doesn’t take long to complete but will
take a few days for you to get a response.
Schedule to take the college placement test. The college placement test is designed
to see where you are as far as an educational stand point, remember they just want
to see what you know which will determine what classes you would be able to take.
After taking your college placement test you will need to go to Admissions Office
or you can go online to choose your classes. When applying for classes it is very
helpful to use www.ratemyprofessor.com to see which teachers are best. Once
you’ve selected your classes you’re finally ready to get your books and one step
away from taking your seat for your first day of college.
