Gangs in Prison | National Geographic Documentary
By watching this documentary I really think there isn’t much “game
changing” as you would say that the government or law enforcement can do
about prison gangs. Best thing they can do is hope to contain it and hope they
can somewhat have a little bit more control then the inmates. Unless your talk
about completely taking a drastic measure an eliminating all the gang
prisoners by relocating them or murdering them. Something which we all
know is unhuman and will never happen. One thing though people need to
understand is you can’t win all battles, an at lease law enforcement are doing
their best to confined these criminals away from general population.
One of the thing I agree about, that law enforcement do prior to locking up
these prisoner is making a profile of each one of them and detailing
everything head to toe. What I mean about that is the guards, would write
down and take picture of every tattoo on these inmates. This in my opinion is
a huge step toward controlling and being in the loop about what these
prisoners think on a day to day bases and where there from. Kind of like a bio
or resume which is essential intelligence for law enforcements. Because one
thing we all know about gang members, is they’re universal code of “no
snitching” or talking to law enforcement.
This would lead to guards properly putting each inmates in a proper section,
base on their history of violence and what set and or gang they represent. This
