Plan of Action and Goal
Statement My quarter goal in education is to accomplish this class without
quitting. My plan of action is, I will apply myself to achieve all my assignments and tasks in class. I will
study every day when I get off from work at 5pm. I will spend at least three to four hours a day. My
quarter goal in my career is, within three months, to have all my employees retrained, to do things
correctly within the Denny’s procedures. I will put up notices in certain areas to give employees
reminder of how it should be done. For my personal quarter goal is to, commutate better with my
girlfriend. I will work on being patient, understanding. I will work on this, by listening, communicating
and being respectfully. I will have a change in my life, with my personal quarter goal by the 1st of
January. My midterm goal for my education is to improve my skills on the computer. I will take some
academic classes to improve my typing skills.
. Within four years I should be where I want to be. I should be able to type at least seventy to eighty
words per minute. And know more about computer. I should have my bachelor degree within that same
time frame. My midterm for my career, is to be successful, running my own Denny’s restaurant. My
midterm for my personal goal is to get married to my girlfriend within three years. (Even though she
doesn’t know yet) My long term goal for my education, is to be able to read and speak Spanish I will
start classes in February 2015. I will apply myself by going to classes’ part time at the beginning and then
later full time. My personal goal for long term is to own my home. I will do this by making double
payments starting in 2016.
The state of action, I will take to start making myself marketable for the type of job I wish to obtain after
graduation, will be a General Manager at my own Denny’s restaurant. I’ve been employed at Denny’s for
six years. My position as of now is kitchen manager. My region manager is going to give me my own
store to run after I graduate next year (November 2015). During this time I will be in training for FOD as
