This presentation will be focused on a Business Unit of Conduent in the Government healthcare
Industry, which is one of many industries Conduent provides services for. Conduent is the
world’s largest business process services company formerly known as Xerox. Its mission is to
modernize the constituent experience by making every interaction digital, personalized and
secure while giving their clients the freedom to focus on their real business. Conduent is
outsourced by various companies to provide services for commercial and government
organizations. Conduent helps organizations to review their document processes by identifying
business processes that would benefit them from automation.
Slide 2 Company background History and evolution
We will now give a brief background on the company’s history and progression. Xerox
Corporation is synonymous with photocopying, making of printers, scanners, fax machines,
multifunction devices, and digital printing and publishing systems in addition to its flagship
black-and-white and color copiers. Xerox Corporation traces its roots to 1906 as the Haloid
Company which was a photography-business established in Rochester, New York. Xerox was
about more than just office products, introduced DocuShare document-management software
in 1997, providing a system for users to post, manage, and share information on company
