When it comes to the topic of sexual harassments there is a variety of ways that companies can use in
order to protect/ reduce their risk of sexual harassment lawsuits such as; raise awareness and
understanding of the topic, create a comfortable workplace environment, make sure that all complaints
are taken seriously and an investigation is done no matter the urgency of the claim. When someone
looks at the term sexual harassment, they often think of it as a physical action taken place when in
reality it is not just physical it is also verbal an emotional because if we look at it, in a work environment
any conduct of sexual nature that makes someone feels uncomfortable has the potential to be sexual
harassment.
Most cooperation’s if not all takes sexual harassment serious implementing different ways of passing
the knowledge unto its employees about this topic an how to deal with it if you were ever to come
across such a situation. In the military, we use Army Regulation 600-20 Chapter 7 to cover Sexual
Harassment; it is one of the means in which the employees of the Army can learn about the topic and
how to prevent it. It is also where a person can learn where they can go to get help without fear of being
judged. However, this alone does not stop the possibilities of sexual harassments there is many aspects
that needs to be done for example, once again in the military there is monthly training that is conducted
