After reading the article presented by Synder and Forbus, I realized not only how to
properly give a great presentation, and why it matters… I came to discover things I’ve been
doing wrong all these years and how I could improve. In my freshman year of college, I had to
pick an argument, study up on it, and then debate that topic in front of the class. I had memorized
my presentation (one of the things said not to do in this article), and even though the opening
went smoothly, things quickly took a turn for the worse during the middle. Someone abruptly
stopped the presentation with a question that not only threw me off my game, but completely
