Having communication in the workplace is very important because without
communication workers will not have an understanding of what they are doing. Even having
communication in the workplace, Globally, is important because workers will need to be able to
understand cultural difference and different location.
There are so many different ways to communicate with other workers through the company, even
if they’re overseas, such as:
Email
Phone Calls
Fax
Video Conference (through skype, video camera, etc…)
Having these options of technologies help communicate what needs to be done with the
company and help make sure that both companies are meeting their goals and setting new goals.
Technology is always changing so it’s important for companies to get caught up with the
technologies to still communicate with overseas companies. Globalization and the use of
technology also puts a greater emphasis on the interpersonal skills of employees, and their ability
to collaborate in teams. More and more companies are using new technologies, which as a
consequences improves their competitive globally and grows their profits (Zaj-c, J. (2013).
