existence or we can say the way of
thinking about the world, the universe,
and the society. Therefore, a

Philosophy the one who study humans
and the world by means of thinking and
asking questions to come up with a
theory.
These are ten Philosophers we have
picked. You can view here their life,

society.
Socrates
( 469399 BCE )
Greek philosopher
Father of Western Philosophy
His historical authenticity
has never been challenged but
all we know of him comes from
Plato and so this honor is,
rightly, challenged.
His death was a dark moment
in Athenian and human
history, but his teachings
have survived, a beacon of
light for many years.
Contributions
“Strong minds discuss
ideas, average minds
discuss events and weak
minds discuss people .”
Socrates works became so
popular because of its
content. He believed that
philosophy should achieve
practical results for the
greater wellbeing of
society. He attempted to
establish an ethical system
based on human reason rather
than theological doctrine.
The ultimate wisdom comes
from knowing oneself which
means the more a person
knows, the greater his or her
ability to reason and make
choices that will bring
greater good.
One should never cling to
glories, wealth and physical
beauty because what one
should focus on is the
greater importance of both
the heart and mind.
Contributions

One of the most influential

His teachings, preserved in the
Analects, focused on creating
ethical models of family and
public interaction and setting
educational standards.
After his death, Confucius
became the official imperial
philosophy of China.
Our greatest glory is not
in never falling, but in
rising every time we fall .”
Confucius has given us a lot
of lessons in life.
Personally, I think his
ideology is good for personal
moral pursuit but not for
managing a country. Among the
many words of wisdom he
proposes, the aforementioned
was our favorite for obvious
reasons.
Failure is an overwhelming
word. It seems like a
constant internal battle with
every step you take. It
brings questions optimism
tends to forget. Failure is
often cast in a dark cloak
with a lot of fear around it
but if you
