Dear FEC Assessment Committee:
This is my portfolio for English 122. This portfolio includes all my written works that I
completed in English 122 during Spring 2015. Consisting of four written papers with different
topics, my portfolio demonstrates my abilities accomplish the two main outcomes in English
122. Over the course of sixteen weeks, I develop my writing English skills through various
assignments. Therefore, my academic writing skills gradually completes and helps me ready for
taking higher English academic classes. As international student, writing paper in English is
difficult to me. English 122 gives me perfect opportunity to learn, practice and create strong
foundation for college writing experiences that I will need for my college academic.
The English 122 is focused on two main outcomes. The first outcome is the ability to
“communicate effectively in a variety of genres for various audience and situations”. I learn this
