Lesson 1: Assignment 1
I am Ewerton de Souza, and I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I moved to Florida about six
years ago, and I’ve loved it ever since. One thing that is unique about me is that I enjoy life
to the fullest every single day. It’s easy to spend my life happy with this beautiful weather,
walks on the beach watching the sunrise, soaking in the energy of the sun, and breathing in
the fresh sea breeze. Each and every day, I am grateful for my life and my many blessings.
In a practical sense, I am highly efficient, time-wise. I am extremely punctual, and I work
well with deadlines. Somehow the stress of impending due dates challenges me to work
harder and to put my heart into whatever I’m doing. On a more personal note, I absolutely
love to write, whether it’s for pleasure or for the classroom. I feel I communicate most
effectively through my writing. Unfortunately, my public speaking skills are lacking. What
I was blessed with in my writing ability, I was cursed with in my speaking abilities (or lack
thereof). I hope that as I continue with my education, I will gain as much confidence in
speaking as I have in writing. I can tell from the communication so far that this will be an
extremely tough class, however, I am actually looking forward to learning how to write in
