Book Review PSCI 2301
The following rubric is designed for the analysis of a book dealing with political issues. The rubric focuses on the abilities, attitudes, and behaviors that should be
acquired through the content knowledge of the course. These include but are not restricted to the following skills: 1) measuring critical thinking skills, 2) the ability
to draw conclusions about an issue or problem through deduction and inference based upon the evidence provided, 3) the ability to identify unstated assumptions
that may or may not be supported by the evidence, 4) the ability to analyze the validity of an author’s selection and ordering of evidence into a coherent argument,
theme, or position.
