Police are not making any of situation they come across more helpful. I believe that body
cameras are not helping all people out but are making it easier for the officer’s to target
race and say that they had the right reason to use deathly force against a citizen. They are
putting people in situations where when they run from an officers; drops their phone and
gets gun down no questions asked, but when a person attacks an officer they do not get
sentence to death.
The police officers now a day do things that they know they can get away with no matter
what the issue is depending the color of a person skin color. In a situation where a police
officer was being recorded by his body camera comes up to a young black child trying to
pat him down for no reason at all. As the policeman pat the child down the only thing that
he had on him was his cell phone. The black child gotten free and made a run for it as if
his life was in danger. In the process of him running he dropped his phone and turned
around to pick up the cell phone. The office then fire six shots and hit the black child three
times in his back and die right on the spot. After the incident happen nothing never happen
to the office for killing the unarmed kid and there was no justice for the child or his family.
Officers believe they can do this simply because they are the law.
