Lab 1 Pendulum:
https://phet.colorado.edu/sims/html/pendulum-lab/latest/pendulum-lab_en.html
Introduction
A simple pendulum consists of a string of length L fixed at one end, and a bob (a small
dense mass) suspended from the other. The period of a pendulum is the time it takes the
pendulum bob to swing back and forth one full cycle (i.e. from the point of release until it
returns to the same location.)
In this lab we will:
– Show that the period of a simple pendulum is directly proportional to the square
root of the length of the string and inversely proportional to the square root of the
strength of the gravitational field at that location.
