Pleasant Childhood Experiences: Europe 2014
The summer of 2014 finally payed off my hard fundraising I had
accomplished in the previous fall. I was sixteen and finally able to go to Europe!
Never meeting half of the group made the experience that much more exciting.
Fifteen of us came from the Bangor area led by Lori. While the other half of the
group came from Portland led by Maggie. Thirty-two of us were on our way to
Italy, France, and England for our twenty-one days in July. Each of these places
showed me different locations, one of which included a home stay with an Italian
family.
The first stop of my twenty-one days in Europe was Italy. Our group spent
two weeks of our trip in Italy. In Italy we made stops at the following places,
Rome, Treviso, Florence, Venice, Milan, Pisa, and Verona. First stop was Rome, we
