Plagiarism Essay
Let’s discuss what plagiarism is exactly. Plagiarism is taking someone’s work that is not
yours and not crediting, by just passing it off as your own. The statement provided explains the
view from a student and how they went about on writing an assignment. This student seems to
believe that since they were doing all the reading/research, they could just paste down the
information since they “located” the information themselves.
I don’t agree with anything in that statement because all of it showed signs of plagiarism.
The student denies the fact that he/she is constantly saying in each sentence that it’s fine to paste
any information he/she found through the textbook. I don’t agree because at the end of the
statement it states, “It is my work, not plagiarism” but i disagree and none of the information
he/she pasted is he/she’s work. Everything in the statement shows plagiarism. He/she did not
want to credit the textbook.
