ANALYSIS
The fifth experiment entitled Electric Fields and Equipotential Lines, was all about the
nature of electric fields by the help of mapping the equipotential lines and then drawing in the
electric lines of force. The mapping was done with the help and use of a conductive paper, a silver
ink pen which served as an electrode, and a digital multimeter which aided the researchers in
locating points of the same voltage. What is an electric field? An electric field is a property of
electric charge. This is present in all points in space when an electrostatic force exists, or is present
at the point of consideration. To make it simple, since electric field is a property of electric charge,
