1. What is recollection? How does it explain how we know things?
Recollection is a memory of something we once knew from the past. When we are
growing up, we might experience things that we don’t fully remember and then a recent event
happens that helps us recall that moment or something almost the same.
2. Consider the example of equality. When according to Socrates, did we get knowledge of it?
Yes, because there are a lot of things that are almost the same in life and even though we
might now have experienced it, yet it still might seem almost the same as us which is very
interesting.
3. Why doesn’t recollection alone prove that we will continue to exist after death?
When we die, we don’t know where our soul goes or what it does because we don’t really
know what happens to it.
