Descartes had a few arguments for Cartesian dualism. One was I’m such that my existence can’t
be doubted. My body isn’t such its existence can’t be doubted (I can doubt my body, but not my
mind. Descartes second argument (my essential nature is to be on a thinking thing. My body’s
essential nature doesn’t include being an extended thing. I’m not identical with my body. Since
I’m thinking thing. My mind is not identical with my body. The reasoning that established
Descartes’ dualism. It can be successful in logic or facts. There are two fundamentally kinds
minds and bodies. The body is to be extended in space. The mind is to think and engage in
mental activities. Descartes called a human person Union of the mind and body. The minds are
diverse from bodies. No mind is identical with a body. Descartes does argue that minds and
bodies are causal interaction n better known as mind and body paring problem. Descartes
position minds and bodies casually influence each other. Some mental phenomena are causes
of physical phenomena and vice versa. Descartes ties to prove that God exist with the idea of
infinite perfection. Which could have not come from Descartes himself only from God. God is
the only person. God has the power to anything and everything. Yes, I do endorse Monism is
