Leadership
Philip’s leaders have a Management review system which is structured around the strategic
goals and operational targets. This system guides the organization, from individual
employee levels all the way up to top divisional levels of operation. They govern the
system by having “Town meetings” with all employees to communicate strategies, goals
and targets. Leaders would come together twice a year to report on the progression
achieved and also employees are allowed to have discussions with their division leaders on
how to further improve the business and strengthening their competitive positions. This
empowers employees to feel motivated and feel involved in the journey of success with the
company.
Philips has an international reputation of being a company with social responsibility and a
high priority for sustainability. They hold the global leading position for “Green
Company”, which was a result from the “Green Product Development Drive” which was
overlooked with high level of management attention and priority. To show their social
