Producers so be held responsible once ANY harm is done to a customer, the
environment, etc. One exclusion to this would be the misuse of the product by a consumer,
when they have been adequately warned. An example of the misuse would be a pregnant
woman drinking alcohol and losing her baby, the warnings for that are on every bottle of every
vendor/producer. On the other hand, if a person is driving a vehicle (such as the Pinto) and it
malfunctions causing an accident the car company is responsible. Also, if a company pollutes in
any way they are responsible. Producers are morally responsible for keeping the people they
provide products to safe, keeping the environment clean, being profitable for their investors,
