S. W. O. T. Analysis of Peru
The gorgeous and historic country of Peru sits on the Pacific Coast of South America. It
has been an increasingly popular hot spot for tourist for years because of its beauty and its
history. “Peru’s rich and varied heritage includes the ancient Incan capital of Cuzco and the lost
city of Machu Picchu,” (BBC News, 2015). There is also Lake Titicaca that attracts tourists as
well. It is the world’s highest navigable lake and is said to hold “spectacular scenery,” (BBC
News, 2015).
Peru is also known for its mining and agricultural sector. The country is “rich in copper,
silver, lead, zinc, oil and gold,” (BBC News, 2015). The most valuable items in the world, Peru
naturally has them. Oil is one of the most sought after and highest profitable commodities in the
world considering it means power. Oil is a form of fuel and everyone needs fuel on a daily basis.
