Fully Remote or Hybrid?
This question has been one of the main issues companies and schools are trying to tackle as the
world navigates through the ongoing pandemic caused by COVID-19. However, companies and schools
have been experimenting with this topic for more time, but not a lot of them have fully implemented
them. A hybrid remote setup is the sweet spot, because it offers the best of both remote and in-office
benefits, such as flexibility, work-life balance, and in person interaction, just to name a few.
According to a new study conducted by Boston Consulting Group (“BCG”), before the pandemic
struck, around 0% to 20% of workforce where in remote working models, including but not limited to fully
remote, fully work from home, or a mix of both. Further, they also shared another interesting piece of
data acquired while doing their study. See below:
