SPC2017: Personal Inventory Assignment
According to the Myers-Briggs personality test, “ENTJ” is my personality type. This
personality separates itself more than the others by illustrating the judging over perceiving
factor. A person with this personality type has a dominate role in leadership with just a hint
of charm. This charm proves useful and maybe even a little bit selfish when it influence’s
others to collaborate in a project. Little motivation is needed for the ENTJ personality
because he/she is always compelled to carry out the planning themselves. ENTJ is for sure
a solid personality type that can be your best friend or your worst nightmare.
The ENTJ personality displays many strengths that can prove its firm communication
style. This communication can only be achieved if good morals are implemented. “With
great power comes great responsibility”, (Uncle Ben from Spider-Man). Being that the
personality type is very direct and marshal it can seem at first as a little rough around the
edges. The rough edges can be too noisy of a message for the receiver of the
communication message. In those cases, it is imperative that the ENTJ personality send his
signal in a more positive manner. This can be achieved by communicating also in
non-verbal ways such as dramatic story telling or comic personality.
The challenges that are presented in the ENTJ personality for communication are not
unnoticeable, especially to the easily offended listener of today. Being very direct and
marshal can cause some offense or miscommunication to the receiver. This pitfall is
