REASONS TO HAVE SELF
DRIVING VEHICLES

Studies have shown that since self-driving cars have been widely used on the road since
2008 that self driving cars can benefit the future of reducing car accidents and keeping humans
safer than ever before. In this paper I will be going over the pros of these vehicles such as
driving distractions, traffic, drunk drivers and how it can benefit the future of our roadways and
transportation system.
It’s widely known a brain is never actually focusing on one thing at a time. It focuses on
100’s of things that you don’t even realize like breathing, blinking, regulating temperature and
others. When drivers get behind the wheel, there are so many factors at play and a safe road
