Abstract
This research looks at the work of Scott A. Myers, Gregory A. Cranmer, Zachary W.
Goldman, Michael Sollitto, Hailey G. Gillen, and Hannah Ball. The overall purpose of the study
and the research problem was to explore the differences that exist within the employees when
they are seeking different types of information from each other and networking. Some examples
of these would be technical, referent, social, appraisal, normative, organizational, and political.
The basic design of the study is to see if employees are different in the perceived
appropriateness, importance, and frequency of seeking information from certain types of peers
