company’s strategy. The more attractive the industry is, the better its prospects for good
long-term performance are.
PepsiCo was organized into six business divisions following the general strategic approach:
Frito-Lay North America (Lay’s potato chips, Doritos tortilla chips, Cheetos cheese
snacks, Fritos corn chips, Grandma’s cookies, Smartfood popcorns).
Quaker Foods North America (cereals, rice and pasta dishes, granola bars).
North America Beverages (Pepsi, Gatorade, Aquafina, Tropicana, Lipton, Dole,
Propel).
Quaker Oats Products (cereals and snacks in Latin America).
PepsiCo Carbonated Soft Drinks (beverage brands in Latin America)
PepsiCo International (beverage and snack brands in Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa,
Asia, Middle East and North Africa).
