Abstract
Domestic violence is a common problem that many women have experienced. Many victims of
domestic violence don’t speak out. They think, “This won’t happen again.” They accept their
abusive family member’s apology, regardless of history. Beginning with a definition of domestic
violence, this paper takes the discuss the problem of domestic violence that people should be
more considered about it and disputes regarding the problem of domestic violence that many
people deal the problem of domestic violence against women exaggeratedly.

Glossary of Terms
Domestic Violence (DV) Violent or aggressive behavior within the home,
typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or
partner.
Intimate partner violence (IPV) A serious, preventable public health problem that
affects millions of Americans. The term “intimate
partner violence” describes physical, sexual, or
psychological harm by a current or former partner or
spouse.* This type of violence can occur among
heterosexual or same-sex couples and does not require
sexual intimacy.

Domestic violence is considered a serious problem; however, there is a debate over
whether some reports are exaggerated and what types of domestic violence should
be considered.
Report Audience
The audience is women who had experienced on domestic violence and encouraging
them to seek support and services. The audience may have made a commitment domestic
violence that is wrong.
Author’s Purpose
The purpose of this report is to inform others about the problems of domestic violence
against women and why people should do more to deal with it. To achieve this purpose, domestic
violence against men and false allegation domestic violence are discussed.

Introduction
Violence is not a new thing in most of countries. Many people have been violent against
human beings. People as human may have experience on some types of violence on their life
such as teen violence, spousal abuse, harassment, or professional misconduct. It is a human
nature to do violence one or another way. Domestic violence is a variety of abuse that occurs at
home between men and women. It may take many forms that include physical violence and
sexual violence but sometimes it is not just hitting, shoving, grabbing, biting, restraining,
shaking, choking, burning, forcing or an occasional mean argument. This could be emotional
abuse and verbal abuse. The abuser tortures and controls the victim by physical violence, willing
intimidation and threats, intimidation. Domestic violence happens when the abuser committing
and it has problems with control. Some abuser may think this is the way they treat their partners
