What do you believe is the reason for the peaks and troughs? Where do you see the Euro headed
in the next year? Provide rationale for your prediction. Your total post need not be more than 3-4

The value of EURO has been decreasing in the last few years due to what economists
attribute to record-low interest rates, and the economic conditions going on in some of the
countries within the European Union, such as Greece which was going through a bankruptcy
situation, and some others getting into high debt. The peaks and troughs shows the rise and fall
in the EURO’s value, exchange rates, and changing developments in prices, which never move
in straight lines. For what I can tell based on my research, the EURO’s value is not likely to go
up, and there is no indication for soon recovery. Moreover, the uncertainty following Britain
leaving the EU would put unsustainable economic pressure to the remaining members. Due to all
these, the EURO’s value will continue its current declining trend.
