Leisure, Recreation and Play
Leisure
It has often been defined as a quality of experience or as free time. Free time is time spent away from
business, work, job hunting, domestic chores, and education, as well as necessary activities such as eating
and sleeping.
Leisure time measures the time we set aside to socialize, exercise our minds and bodies, and pursue our own
passive leisure should be balanced with time spent in active leisure activities.
