Paternity Leave for A Father
Childbirth brings about great change in a family’s life, with unforeseen changes no mother or
father can imagine. The early stages of child development are essential in day-to-day living, which
causes the need for both parents to interact and bond with their newborn. Fathers today, have become
more involved in raising their child from birth creating a bond while placing their careers on hold.
Whereas, before only mothers took paternity leave, thus resulting in children having tighter bonds with
their mother. Times have evolved with more fathers having an active role in the home’s environment
considering that mothers today work just as hard as fathers outside the home. Paternity leave for a
father aids in babies developing a potential bond, becoming more directly involved in child care,
