Three goals I have set for myself for the upcoming Fall 2016 semester are: have perfect
attendance, balance all of my classes effectively, and not look at my phone while in class. I
have thought of some good strategies to help me achieve this goals. I’m confident if I stick
to them, I will get through Fall semester with ease.
First off, to achieve my perfect attendance goal, I want to implement a strategy of getting
to bed at a decent hour so I can wake up and start my day early. I usually have a problem
with sleeping in too late, and therefore missing an early morning class. So, by getting to
bed earlier I can wake up with enough energy to go to all of my classes. Having perfect
attendance will help me better understand the material in my classes. This avoids
confusion on due dates and special instructions for assignments. I found myself missing a
lot of little things last semester, so I hope that by getting to bed at a decent hour and
waking up early, I can plan my day better.
Second, the reason that I missed early morning classes last semester was in part due to a
lack of using my time effectively. I would find myself scrambling to finish an assignment
for a due date. So to make sure I balance all of my classes effectively, my strategy is to buy
a planner and layout all of my assignments so I always know what and when something is
