1. If I were a Food Network marketer, I would state the network’s overall message as
follows; Our Food Network provides various spices and mixes to make dishes for anyone
with a heart for cooking. We help to make cooking more interesting. We provide a
network for you to interact and follow your passion. Along, with learning new recipes
and tips. Enjoy your work by doing what you love the most. We provide “How To”
tutorials on our most requested recipes. We also give product reviews on food that has
been made in various restaurants.
2. The types of advertising appeals that I think would be most effective with Food Network
viewers are cross-promotion and social media. Cross-promotion because the
advertisement has many touch points for the same kind of audiences. The traditional
television advertisement is more complex and less effective. Social media because it
helps to promote the brands and programs with less effort.
3. The ways Food Network and its advertisers benefit from cross-promotion is that the cost
is less compared to other promotion cost. Advertisers need not find the effective
promotional channel for Food Network. It is the simplest way of effective promotion. It
easily reaches the target customers, because all brand of SNI focuses for same group of
people that is 25 to 54 years.
4. Food Network marketers can use sales promotions techniques to build loyalty among
viewers by strategy. Frequently introducing new shows and promoting the same that
induce consumers to view the channel. Promoting the channel’s picture quality and
program rating to attract the consumers and build the loyalty. Through the effective sales
promotional technique engage the consumers and improve the brand loyalty. Lastly, if an
advertisement contains a public awareness message or telecast program that solves the
social problem, it helps to increase the loyalty.
