After careful planning and review of our process to satisfy the consumer we thought it
best to manufacture for every three months to keep up with cost, labor and customer demand.
Our production planning schedule seem to have worked for the past few months outside of the
customer orders. We planned for more than we should have due to misread reports on the
consumer. Each goal that was set was met at some capacity, without having a negative inventory
at the end of the year.
We based much of our decision on last years numbers for this year and saw a decrease in
customer orders. Our projected rate seem to fell short this year due to missed contracts. We
have decided to strategically plan each quarter by last quarter numbers. If we manufacture less
new product and focus on refurbish product we may see an increase. Our logic behind refurbish
material is simple, most refurbish material costs less as well as will have a high return rate
causing the customer to purchase a new one once the refurbish one dies. Our goal is to sell new
product at a reasonable price with a warranty and sell refurbish material with a 30 day limited
warranty
