Our Generation Film Review
In the film Our Generation, they mentioned differences between social classes. Especially
those living in impoverished societies. The film centered on indigenous African American
people that lived on a very small portion of land in Gallwinku, Australia. These aborigines’
people held strong to their culture, traditions, and beliefs. People within society tend to judge a
book by its cover, even though they have not allowed the time to see the true ethnicity and values
of other cultures.
The different classes of society had an impact in the video. Social Classes vary
among six different categories in a hierarchy of status. Upper class, upper middle class, lower
middle class, working class, and underclass. The definitions of social classes are merely an
example of how we are a globalized society. One‘s education and occupation effects class status.
