ANALYSIS OF BUREAU VERITAS VIETNAM BASED ON THE OPEN SYSTEM
PERSPECTIVE
Introduction
Within an organization, it is practically impossible to have utmost effectiveness, harmony
between every employee, best performance from every employee, etc. Therefore, constant
analysis and evaluation in input resources, organizational structure and organizational processes,
output/outcomes, feedback system are necessary. The report uses an exclusive interview with a
manager from Bureau Veritas Vietnam (BVV) to analyze from open system perspective. Bureau
Veritas Vietnam is a multinational company that specialized in Testing, Inspection and
Certification (TIC). It was registered in 1998. It is located in 644 Cong Hoa Street, Ward 13, Tan
Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The mother company was founded by Mr Didier
Michaud-Daniel, and Vietnamese Headquarter’s General Director is Mr. Trinh Tuan Dung. Their
vision is to become a leader in their industry and a major player in each of their market segments
and key geographical markets. They want to deliver economic value to customers through
Quality, Health, Safety , Environment and Social Responsibility management of their assets,
projects, products and systems, resulting in license to operate risk reduction and performance
improvement. The research is based on an interview with Mrs. Vo Thi My Thuan, the Analytical
Manager of the company. The sources used in this report are from a variety of structures, theories
and diagrams to have a thorough understanding of the organization structure, its issues and
suggestion on how to deal with them.
