A. The overarching issue is the somewhat draconian management style that is prevalent at
Amazon. This problem has manifested itself in all three levels of the organizational
framework. First, Amazon’s “punishing corporate environment” has led to a turnover
problem on the individual level. With an average tenure of just over a year, Amazon must
hire thousands of new workers to replace those who left on their own and those forced out
