I agree with the statement that it is essential for young people to have ability to
plan and organize because of the complexity of modern life. I have three points to
support my mind.
The first related aspect lingering in my mind is that we all had a lot of dierent
works to do everyday in modern society. In the past, people just had to do their
works in the company, and it is enough to satisfy the cost of living. For now, despite
the full-time job, people have to do so many other jobs to make more money to
cover their living cost, because the living costs become higher and higher. People
have to make an advisable schedule to plan their limited time. For example, a person
works as an accountant for his full-time job, but the salaries he got could not meet
the requirements of his living. So, he has to do some part-time jobs, such as teaching
children and serving in the restaurant. 24 hours are fixed per day, so he has to define
the time interval to do dierent jobs. If he does not manage his time eectively, all
his work will mess up, and he can not do anything well.
Despite the quantity of the jobs we have to do, we noticed that every work
changed quickly. Although we have made a schedule, the schedule is not always
in+exible. Sometimes it could change along with special events. For example, a
person made a schedule for teaching a child from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The event is
that the child can not enter into the class at that time today. He has to be able to
organize a new schedule based on the special situation to guarantee the general plan
not to be a3acked by this event.
The last point I must mention is that some works we did were not simple. We
faced many di5culties. To deal with these di5culties, we have to take so much time.
Maybe some difficult works will last for a very time, such as several months and
several years. In order to do this kind of job well, we have to keep calm and sensible.
if we are not able to manage the job on average per day, we could not finish it well.
For instance, I had a job to write a book within two months. It was impossible that I
could finish it a day or some days. So I divided this job to five sections, and I made a
schedule for every section. Finally, I felt relax to finish writing this book, and the
