Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to explain and discuss the main issue the Naz Perces have been
dealing with throughout their encounters with the white man. The Naz Perces were unjustly
treated by the white men because of their lack of knowledge. The white man does not treat the
Nez Perces tribe with the respect and fairness that they deserve considering the fact that the lad
originally belonged to the Indian tribes.
