Oregon Ducks Nike Advertisement
They are the fastest up-tempo football team in all of college history. They are known for
their “Never say never attitude,” and they showed just how much they believe in themselves by
almost beating Auburn in the 2011 BCS National Championship. More importantly, this team is
more known for their flashy uniforms they used in the game against Auburn which were made by
Nike. Some young upcoming players may dream to be just as explosive as the players on this
team, and by being able to wear the gear of this extraordinary football team, kids actually believe
they can play just as great as those players. This football team that kids look up to is none other
than the explosive and fast-paced, Oregon Ducks. The famous Oregon football team, along with
the eye snatching images used to persuade the audience in the “Oregon” Nike advertisement is
both meaningful and persuasive; however, the message of this advertisement is the most
persuasive aspect. With the word choices and font layout chosen for this advertisement, Nike is
able to drive an emotional message into the kids that want to be like the Oregon Ducks’ players,
and make them buy the Oregon gear in order to work harder towards being better players.
The message written in the advertisement is very important because it makes the
audience focus on not just the Oregon Ducks ’ football team, but on how they would look and
play if they were wearing the Ducks’ football gear. In the game where Auburn beat the Oregon
Ducks, the Ducks played their best potential game play and made a huge impact one the game
that made everyone around the college football league notice just how good they are and how
