Does stricter gun control really help lower crime rates or is it implemented to make
citizens feel safer? Increased gun control does not lead to lower crime rates, stricter gun control
laws hurt law abiding citizens and help criminals because the citizens that follow the law are
being disarmed. Everyone believes that more gun control in the United States will lower crime
rate, reduce murders and other violent crimes. Gun control only helps criminals, law abiding
citizens should be able to do as they please when it comes to firearms. Gun control is a highly
debated topic in this country and the public needs to know the truth about guns.
The International Journal of Police Science & Management has published an article about
