The Assembly Line
The production of goods and services is often challenging to manufacture, due to the
scarcity of the resources and complexity the market. It is necessary for the manufacturers to
produce high quality products that are appealing to the customers and are easy to produce. There
is a need for application of an operations that aims at improving the quality and efficiency of the
production. For instance, an effective operations diversifies the assembly operation process
leading to the production of high-quality goods and services that give consumers the value for
their money. Similarly, an appropriate operations intervention must increase the workers
specialization in order to develop creativity that is required in the operations. Specialization
enables the employees to build their career and increase their innovativeness. In any operation,
the level of creativity and innovation skill sets determines the success of the production process.
