Operation Management Plan
Operations Management Plan is the development of plans and strategies that will allow
the business to effectively seize opportunities and meet challenges head on. It’s linking strategic
business goals to tactical objectives, which are intermediate steps taken to achieve your goals.
On the other hand, the Good Mourning’s Operational Management Plan does present highly
detailed information specifically to direct people to perform the day-to-day tasks required in the
running the organization. Organization management and staff should frequently refer to the
operational plan in carrying out their everyday work. The purpose of the company’s Operational
Plan is to provide organization personnel with a clear picture of their tasks and responsibilities in
line with the goals and objectives contained within the Strategic Plan. Moreover, the Operational
Plan is a plan for the implementation of strategies contained within the Strategic Plan. It is a
management tool that facilitates the co-ordination of the organization resources (human,
financial and physical) so that goals and objectives in the strategic plan can be achieved.
Good Mourning’s Operation Management Plan consists of the Supply Chain Management
which shows the flow of goods and services and involves the movement and supplies from the
point of origin to point of consumption. It also consists of the Production Forecast which uses of
historic data to determine the direction of future trends. The company utilizes forecasting to
determine how to allocate their budgets or plan for anticipated expenses for an upcoming period
of time. This is typically based on the projected demand for the goods and services Good
Mourning offers. It also consists of the Bill of Resources which describes the list of resources,
such as labor, needed to complete the services being offered. It also consists of the
Transportation Requirement, which explains how will the services and supplies be delivered to
the customers. It also consists of the Location Strategy which explains where the company will
be located to strategize its marketing aspect to be able to gather customers. Layout design,
equipment and manpower requirement also consist the Operations Management Plan. It consists
of the Projection Management (Gantt Chart) which shows the start and finish dates of several
elements of a project that include resources, milestones, tasks and dependencies.
For the delivery of the services, the transportation, tents and chairs suppliers will be the
one to deliver the services in the customer’s location. For the food and beverages, the food and
beverage suppliers will be responsible for the delivery. The food and beverages will directly be
delivered in the customer’s location. For the services such as mananabtan, priest and choir, they
will be the ones to go directly to the For the eulogy service, Good Mourning will be tied up with
the St. Peter’s Life Plan Agents. They will be the one who will provide for the projector and LCD
screen.
4.1 Overview of Proposed Supply Chain Management
From the suppliers the materials and services will be delivered to the enterprise and delivered to
the customers.

4.2.1 Sales Projection
The production forecast is based on the sales forecast. In year 2017 the production is low since
it is starting and the capacity of the assigned manager/ server is low since the employee are still
adjusting throughout the whole semester.
