Alabama Vs Florida State
Early in the game Deondre Francois controlled the tempo and threw A touchdown which
helped FSU get out to an Early 7-3 lead. The next drive Alabama goes 85 yards in 5 plays and jalen
hurts throws a 53 TD he completes all 7 of his passes that drive. This gives Alabama a 10-7 lead.
And the Halftime score is 10-7. Towards the end of the 3rd quarter Alabama blocks a punt which puts
them inside the 15, but it just results in a field because of the defense of FSU, which puts Alabama
up 13-7. The next play again Alabama special teams forces a turnover with a force fumble on a kick
return. This leads to a rushing touchdown which puts up Alabama 19- 7. Alabama also converts a 2-
point conversion that brings the score 21-7. These wo plays change the moment of the game in the
favor of Alabama. Because the next drive. Deondre Francois throws a pick. Then early 4th quarter he
throws his second pick. During the 5:30 mark of the 4th Deondre Francois get hit hard on a pass and
the defender lands on his knees and Francois is taken out the game. Alabama wins the game 24-7.
FSU shows they need to be sounder on special teams with a lot of costly turnovers coming
on that end. Moving Forward they need to do a better job protecting Deondre Francois so he does
not take any more of those big hits. Also, they need to learn how to keep their foot on the gas the
whole game.
For Alabama, this was not their prettiest win but their special teams defense helped them out
a great deal. Alabama offensive still needs some work Hurts threw 10 for 18 for 96 and 1 TD which
might be okay for this game because other areas of the team stepped up, they will have to have a
better time later in the season if they want to win the National Championship
