There has been much talk around the world about outsourcing and
offshoring and it’s affect on economies. This topic has been one that has
caused a lot of controversy. Over the last few decades many companies have
either placed their resources in the hands of other overseas or completely
picked up and relocated aboard. Outsourcing is when a company decides to
give another company authority to produce or carry out a service to a third
party. This allows for the organization to focus on other aspects of its
business. For example, many automobile makers manufacture car parts
through other companies around the world. They have relationships that
