Off-Peak Pricing
Off- peak pricing is defined by the book as consisting of charging different prices during
different seasons of the year and different times of the day or days of the week to reflect
variations in demand for the service. The most common service that uses off-peak pricing is the
service of airlines. Airline prices are constantly fluctuating in prices, whether you decide to fly
early in the morning, in the afternoon or at night, the prices are going to be different. Another
way that airlines use peak pricing is around holidays. As Thanksgiving and Christmas come
around airline prices are through the roof due to the extreme demand of people traveling for the
holidays. Holidays and the time of date aren’t the only things that effect the price of tickets,
