Not Feeling the Love
In modern society, women have become accepted as equals to men. However, in
the past, many people did not share this belief and viewed men as the superior sex. In
Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, the characters Miss Havisham and Estella are
employed to assert the concept that women lack the full spectrum of emotions men
experience, making women evil.
