Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, also known as NHL, is a type of cancer that originates in the
lymph system due to unhealthy cells whereby abnormally grow and spread throughout the body.
Such abnormally in NHL begins in white blood cells often called lymphocytes, typically found
in lymph and blood tissues, which are made in the bone marrow while playing a definite role in
protecting the body from infections or diseases. In this way, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma can start
in any part of a body as long as there is presence of lymph tissue such as tonsils, bone marrow,
spleen, or in the lymph nodes itself. Due to its complexity, proper treatment for NHL is
dependent upon whether B cells or T cells are significantly affected and its maturity stage as it
grows and develops within the cells. From a statistical standpoint, age, gender, or race are not
main factors as a result of a presence of lymphoma but, as any other cancerous disease, a person
