When we go to sleep at night most of us dream. Dreams, as stated by Bryant, C.W., are
images and imagery, thoughts sound and voices, and subjective sensations experienced when
we sleep. Sometimes when I wake up, I don’t remember my dreams, but when I lay down, I
always play a video of myself in the future to help myself fall asleep. There are moments where
I am awakened because I seem to somehow end up in a nightmare. According to Mayo Clinic, a
nightmare is a disturbing dream associated with negative feelings, such as anxiety or fear that
awakens you. How are nightmares formed? What are they about? Can we deplete nightmares?
