1. Negotiation
1. Anticipate buyer concerns(In this section I sort of summarized our
intention as a company and also briefly address some concerns about our
company)
The Fit N Go brand was developed to allow access to healthy
options at schools for their students. Our proposed program
consists of providing healthy food options at lunchtime in the
school’s cafeteria, after school activities such as sporting events and
practices. Fit N Go saw a need for this in our schools based off
recent statistics. Nearly 1 and 3 children in the United States is
either overweight or obese, this puts them at risk for serious health
problems. (CDC, 2018) Fit N Go believes we can work with our local
schools to create an environment where the healthy choice is the
easy choice. There isn’t one particular reason why childhood
obesity is on the rise but there are contributing factors. Television,
Video games and social media have taken away from the time kids
used to spend engaging in physical activity. Most adolescents fall
short of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans
recommendation of at least 60 minutes of aerobic physical activity
each day. Only 18% of students in grades 912 met this
recommendation in 2007. (CDC, 2018) Daily, quality physical
education in school can help students meet the guidelines,
however, in 2009 only 33% had access to and attended daily
physical education classes. (CDC, 2018) Also, nearly half of the U.S.
middle schools and high schools allow advertising of less healthy
foods which impacts the students ability to make healthy food
choices. Foods that are high in calories, sugar, salt, fat and low in
nutrients are advertised to children and adolescents, while the
advertising of healthy foods is almost nonexistent. Fit N Go wants
to team up with our local schools to make that change by offering
