For this assignment the objective for the overview of a possible revised statute of
Oregon 458.010. The revised statute has three sections pertaining (1) to organ donation
within the state of Oregon and the process of donation, (2) stem cell research concerning
recovered said cell from the placentae going towards the research of Alzheimer’s disease,
and concluding with (3) penalties towards Oregon residents ages over 65 will be charged
an amount fee for an organ but residents 65 years of age or younger will not receive a fee
for the organ.
Section 1states that “all organs donated in Oregon be used for Oregon residents
first.” Following with a description of a $10,000 fee per organ donated and transported
out of the state of Oregon, with allocation of funds towards stem cell research in Oregon,
with additional information about transportation. By carefully reading this section IRAC
